School Day

The School day starts at 8:50am, when classroom doors open and the children are allowed to enter the building. On rainy mornings, the classroom doors may be open from 8:45am so that families do not have to wait in the rain. 

Children should not be brought to school too early. If you wish, you can take advantage of our Breakfast Club which is open from 7:30am to 9:00am. 

For safety reasons, if children arrive before 8:45am they must report to Breakfast Club in the school hall.

Our registers close at 9:00am and anyone entering the building after this may be marked late in the register. 

Please try to ensure that your child is as school on time, as late arrival at school can be upsetting, especially for infant children.

The children have a 15 minute break, in alloctaed zones of the playground, between 10:30 and 10:45.

During the morning break, children in the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 have access to fruit and milk.

Children in Key Stage 2 may bring their own healthy snack. Please see the School Meals page of the website for more details.

Lunch times differ, depending on the age of your child.

Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2: 12:00-1:30pm

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6: 12:15-1:30pm

The school day ends at 3:30pm.
