RE

Come and See is the Catholic RE programme taught throughout the archdiocese of Liverpool.

It is taught from Reception to Year 6 .

It allows the children to see the clear links between life and faith, exploring beliefs, revealing ideas and responding to Scripture. Each topic lasts for 4 weeks and fits in with the Liturgical themes of the church calendar.

Come and See links the school and the parish and Father Leo visits school to talk to the children about what they are learning about in their topics.

Two extra weeks of a different faith or religion are also taught. These include Judaism and either Hinduism, Sikhism or Islam each year.

Below is a break down of the topics taught across all year groups. Each topic fits into one of three themes, Christian Living, Saraments and Church. Although the topics and content differ, there is a theme running throughout the school during a topic.
