Councillor details - Councillor Rob Reynolds

Rob Reynolds

Local Authority Governor

Chair of Governors

I have been a governor at the school since 2017, I am a member of Rainford Parish Council and I represent Rainford on St Helens Council. I am a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor, I have a degree in accounting and a diploma in charity accounting.  While the above may mean I am not very exciting at parties, I do have a lot of knowledge, skills and experience which are useful in my role as a governor.

I am a member of the congregation at Corpus Christi Church and while I do not attend every week, I am certainly there more than occasionally. The school has a lovely atmosphere and I want to do everything I can to help maintain this. I wear a hearing aid (not a fashion choice) and struggled with dyspraxia at school, so I am particularly proud of our school's record with children with special educational needs.

Tony Ford

Vice Chair of Governors

My whole family has been involved in Corpus Christi for many years.  Both my children were educated here and received an outstanding start to their schooling.

I am a former head teacher and Schools Officer for the Archdiocese. I feel that I have the experience and skills to support our parish catholic school and help to make it the best it can be for all our children and their families.

Fr Paul Harris

Jane Monk

Foundation Governor

My aim as a governor is to ensure that Corpus Christi School is well managed and that Governors work closely with the Head teacher and staff to make sure that all pupils, whatever their ability, make the best possible progress in a safe, happy environment.

I have been a Governor for more than twenty-five years.  I have lived in the village for over forty years and have been involved with Corpus Christi for all of those years, as all three of my daughters attended the school.

Denise Gibney

I am committed to support all class teachers and the management team in developing maths so that all children reach their potential.

I am committed to access for all.

I have been an active member of our school and church communities for more than a decade.

I have a specific personal interest in dyslexia.

Melanie Lee

Foundation Governor

I want the school to be a happy and safe environment for the children to learn, play and to realise their dreams.

I am an active member of the church and involved in many organisations in the village.  I believe in the catholic education, both my children came to this school and went onto De La Salle.

Jason Picket

Foundation Governor

My aim through effective and constructive challenge is to actively contribute to improving outcomes for the children of our school.

Ensuring that we create a school environment that is safe, supportive and happy that provides our children with every opportunity to fulfil their potential.

I have been a social worker for over 20 years and am totally committed to promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Katherine Grange

Parent Governor

Emma Johnson

Staff Governor

Bev Nacey

Parent Governor

I've been part of the Corpus Christi family since 2012 when my first son started in Reception.  The welcome and support he had was amazing, and as a governor I want to ensure that all the children at our school are given that same welcome and support so they can reach their potential.  I feel it's vitally important when governing our school that parents' opinions are heard in a balanced and constructive manner, and that school management, staff and parents work together in our children's best interests.
